Suzanna, Bearer Of Light

This painting is "Moon Called" on canvas, which I first covered with vintage dictionary pages. I sketched and painted this in my art journal quite some time ago, then added details and put it to canvas. The moon above and over the heart represents my love of the Divine and how I carry it in my heart always.

I am so thankful to be feeling better! Cleaned off my art table so I can get started on the new painting. Worked on getting caught up on paperwork (yuk). But the biggest news is that I worked on content for my website www.bearersoflight.com last night. Almost finished so that it can finally go live. Woo hoo!

Gave two readings this week and I am just beaming from channeling the Energy. I am so happy to be able to help people obtain answers and inspiration for their life paths.

I have been struggling with 'artists block' for months while I have been sick. Finally today I had a revelation and subsequently the art came from it. I had a train of thought about the seeds that we plant - ideas, work, intention. Then we nourish the seeds until they grow and are ready to harvest. Sometimes the seeds grow quickly and sometimes it seems they take forever. Finally they come to harvest and we enjoy the fruit of our labor or intention. The key is knowing that the seeds come from us, that we are the initiator, the creator and the outcome is our creation. I did a quick sketch for a painting with this idea, we'll see if it comes to harvest.
