Just finished the online workshop "Soldering for Virgins" from Sally Jean Alexander and it was amazing. I taught myself to solder glass charms/art from her book a couple of years ago. I made some great gifts and have created some inspirational art using her technique. Placing your art under glass makes it look amazing and soldering the border makes it into jewelry. Since teaching myself to solder, I have gone on to making jewelry and now looking into metal clay and metalwork techniques. It's super fun and I love the way it frames my art.
